Payment Information

The Breeder's Awards are paid to the registered breeder of an Indiana Sired & Bred horse using the following formula:

Breeder's Award Amount = % of win earnings in eligible races * Amount of Available

The breeder is defined as the individual listed on the horse's registration papers as the breeder by the United States Trotting Association (USTA).  If the award is to be paid to a stable name/business then the registered owner must be listed as that stable name/business.  If there are multiple breeders listed, the award will be paid to the individual listed first.  It is the individual who receives the awards responsibility to distribute the award to the remaining breeders.

In order to receive a Breeder's Award, the breeder must have on file with the State of Indiana the following forms:
