IOT's services are based on industry best practices and, by leveraging the full buying power of the State as a result of the consolidation of common IT services, IOT's rates are extremely competitive.
IOT consistently revisits the rates associated with its services to ensure IOT's partner agencies are provided with quality, cost-effective products that will save agencies' and taxpayers' money. Beginning in 2005 IOT rates have consistently been reduced either by actual rate reductions and/or rebates given back to agencies. In addition to the savings below, in 2008 IOT began including PCs as part of the "seat" service that allow computers to be refreshed every four years without additional cost to the agency.
