The Indiana War Memorials consist of the Indiana War Memorial, Soldiers & Sailors Monument, University Park, Veteran's Memorial Plaza, American Legion Mall, the USS Indianapolis Memorial, the Medal of Honor Memorial, and the 9/11 Memorial. They are operated by the Indiana War Memorials Commission to commemorate the valor and sacrifice of Hoosier veterans of our nation's conflicts and to provide for the education and enjoyment of visitors.
Indiana War Memorial Museum
The Indiana War Memorial Museum is a chronological "time-line" museum of Indiana's role in our nation's conflicts. Admission is free.
Hours of operation are: Wednesday - Sunday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM. The museum is closed on Monday and Tuesday, and on all National and State holidays except Memorial Day and Veterans Day.
Soldiers & Sailors Monument
The Soldiers & Sailors Monument contains a Gift Shop and Observation Level.
Hours of operation are: Friday - Sunday, 10:30 AM - 5:30 PM.
Tours and Group Visits
Groups are always welcome during operating hours. Guided tours are given during regular operating hours, but must be scheduled in advance. Veteran group tours during non-operating hours may be available given sufficient advance notice.
