New rates for Elkhart Municipal Water received IURC approval on Feb. 27, 2025.
The Commission's order in Cause No. 46010 approved a settlement agreement between the OUCC and the City. The OUCC filed testimony on Nov. 4, 2024.
An IURC public field hearing was held in Elkhart on Oct. 1, 2024.

Elkhart's previous municipal water rates were approved in 2007 (IURC Cause No. 43191).
Municipal sewer rates are not under IURC jurisdiction. They are approved by locally elected city and town councils.
