Reviewer Opportunities

Application Reviewer Interest

Thank you for your interest in serving as a reviewer or panelist for the Indiana Arts Commission. Reviewers play a significant role in application evaluation for funding or other services by reviewing and providing comments on submitted applications. Depending on the program, reviewers may also discuss applications during a panel meeting with fellow reviewers. All reviewers receive a stipend for their time and expertise. Stipends vary by program.

Current Reviewer Recruitment

The Indiana Arts Commission is currently recruiting application reviewers for the following programs. Expand each section to learn more about what reviewers for each program do and how to share your interest in becoming involved.

  • Arts Organization Support

    The Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) is seeking reviewers to support the Arts Organization Support (AOS) grant, which provides stable and consistent funding to arts organizations across varied geographies and budget sizes. The program is open every odd calendar year, and applicants funded in this program will be funded for two fiscal years.

    Reviewers play a significant role in application evaluation for public funding by reviewing, scoring, and providing comments on submitted applications. The IAC seeks a variety of experiences and backgrounds to foster greater dialogue, awareness, and understanding, while also including the many perspectives that make up the state of Indiana to review and evaluate grant applications.

  • Arts Project Support

    The Indiana Arts Commission (IAC) is seeking reviewers to support the Arts Project Support (APS) grant application evaluation. APS provides funding to support a public facing short-term arts project or a series of arts activities. Examples include performances; exhibits; arts festivals; arts and cultural planning; arts learning for specific populations such as older adults or youth; public art or some other arts-based or arts-serving activity.

    Reviewers play a significant role in application evaluation for public funding by reviewing, scoring, and providing comments on submitted applications. The IAC seeks a variety of experiences and backgrounds to foster greater dialogue, awareness, and understanding, while also including the many perspectives that make up the state of Indiana to review and evaluate grant applications.
