Clay County Treasurer Office Resumes Operating Hours

On Monday, July 22, 2024, the Clay County Office of Treasurer will reopen under standard hours, 8 AM - 4 PM ET.
The Office will be able to accept payments by cash, check, or certified check, but will not be able to process payments via credit card or debit card.
As a reminder, we have extended the deadlines on the payments for the tax sale as follows:
- Payment by July 23 at 2 PM: Your name will not be printed in the newspaper as long as you come in and pay by July 23 at 2 PM with cash or certified check.
- Payment after July 23 at 2 PM: Your name will be printed in the newspaper ad that lists the parcels that will be in the tax sale.
We recognize this temporary closure has been difficult and we apologize for any inconvenience.
