Ordinances and Resolutions

03/04/2025 - Blackiston Mill Road, Bridge 51 Closed

Due to the Dam failure and resulting bank erosion, Bridge 51 is currently closed to all traffic. County Officials and Third-Party Consultants continue to monitor conditions. Emergency work has been conducted to place fill at the Bridge to prevent further erosion, and County workers have cleared much of the debris from the Dam. The County is working with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources on further activities necessary to improve conditions. Water levels must lower to further review impacts to the Bridge foundation before the Bridge can be assessed for re-opening.
