According to Statute, the Madison County County Prosecutor is permitted to intervene in a family law matter regarding paternity of a minor child, establish or modify child support, or to enforce existing child support orders.
The IV-D court oversees cases referred from an originating court once the Prosecutor intervenes. Child custody and parenting time guidelines are still under the jurisdiction of the originating court.
Hearings are held on the third floor of the Madison County Government Center at 16 E 9th Street, Anderson, IN 46016.
