Michael Wallace

In this comprehensive presentation, participants will gain a solid understanding of the role of Hazardous Materials Site Safety Officers, as defined by the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) under 29 CFR 1910.120(q) and NFPA 470. By the end of this engaging, interactive session, participants will be well-prepared to fulfill this critical role in ensuring safety during hazardous materials incidents.

The Meter Guys

The Meter Guys is an innovative simultaneous hands-on lecture meter training program focused on first responders, hazmat personnel and industrial workers. This class provides students with the skills and competencies on how to properly use a 4-gas meter, understand the readings they are seeing and interpret the implications during an emergency response or in their daily routine. This class focuses on the hazardous materials most frequently encountered in transportation and has application to both the emergency response and industrial communities.
