Project AWARE Indiana is helping to Change the Frequency of how mental health education and awareness are practiced in schools and communities statewide.
CREATING AWARENESS –
EMPOWERING STUDENTS
Since 2018, Project AWARE has trained 25,800+ educators and provided 357,000+ mental health assessments to students across Indiana. Through Project AWARE, we are establishing sustainable infrastructure for school-based mental health programs and services in every corner of our state by:
- Increasing awareness of youth mental health
- Providing mental health training to school personnel
- Connecting youth and their families with mental health services
- Reducing stigma associated with mental health
- Advocating for sustainable mental health awareness practices for educators, youth, and their families
