The Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction All-Hazards Emergency State Plan is intended as a comprehensive framework for statewide mental health and addiction mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery activities. The Division of Mental Health and Addiction will be responsible for coordination with local, state, and federal agencies, commissions, boards and councils. This plan is meant to be a dynamic document that can be modified to incorporate new and changing technologies and emerging best practices in mental health. The plan provides a framework for use by the Division of Mental Health and Addiction in its role as state coordinator of mental health care related to disaster. It also serves as template for local mental health disaster planning.
