Dynamic imagery layers offer control over the visualization of input images, enhancing interpretation and visual analysis beyond the capabilities of tiled imagery layers. Unlike static tile cache layers, dynamic imagery layers from ArcGIS Online allow users to adjust raster bands, pixel values, and brightness, with additional control options such as processing templates, image display order, and filtering. The bare earth surface, also known as Digital Elevation Model (DEM), can be displayed in many ways, including shaded relief, hill shade, slope and many more available in ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Pro.
