Rapid Response Team
RRTs (Rapid Response Teams) are multi-agency, multi-disciplinary teams that operate using Incident Command System (ICS)/National Incident Management System (NIMS) principles and a Unified Command structure to respond to human and animal food emergencies. The Indiana RRT helps support the mission of the Indiana Department of Health Food Protection Division to promote and support a healthier and safer Indiana by striving for a safe food supply.
The Indiana RRT comprises multiple partners and stakeholders in Indiana to prepare for and effectively respond to foodborne illness outbreaks and other food emergencies.
