Office of Data and Analytics

Formed in late 2020 in response to gaps identified during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Office of Data and Analytics serves as the Analytics Center of Excellence for the Indiana Department of Health. Our growing team of data scientists, analysts, managers and engineers supports program areas and divisions throughout the agency with accessing, cleaning, analyzing and disseminating insight gleaned from health data.

Mission and Vision

Mission: To advance data solutions that promote, protect and improve the health and safety of all Hoosiers.
Vision: Data is leveraged to provide actionable insights and to enable evidence-based decisions.
