Alexis Gonzalez serves the state of Indiana as the Director of the Indiana Commission on Hispanic and Latino Affairs.

Alexis was born and raised in Valparaiso, Indiana and has been serving in this role since June 2021. Miss Gonzalez double majored in Political Science and Philosophy for her bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. In her spare time she enjoys reading, yoga, and playing her clarinet.
