INDIANAPOLIS - Registration is now open for the State of Indiana’s 2014 Fair Housing Conference titled: “The Summit: Breaking Boundaries, Empowering and Furthering Fair Housing” hosted by the Indiana Civil Rights Commission on April 3-4, 2014. The conference will be held at the Indiana Government Conference Center in Downtown Indianapolis and provides eight (8) hours* of CLE and CEU credit through comprehensive training designed for attorneys, realtors, housing providers, landlords and tenants.
This year’s conference will be highlighted by a keynote luncheon featuring The Honorable Karen Freeman-Wilson, former judge, Indiana Attorney General and current mayor for the City of Gary. Having also previously served as the Executive Director of the Indiana Civil Rights Commission, Mayor Freeman-Wilson will share her personal experience with housing discrimination as well as her current work on developing partnerships and strategies for community redevelopment.
Cost to attend the seminar is just $35.00 for those seeking CLE and CEU credit. For those individuals not seeking credit the conference is free to attend.
