The Hoosier Riverwatch volunteer stream monitoring online database is a powerful tool for visualizing, graphing, searching, and downloading a variety of stream data collected by Hoosier Riverwatch volunteers. Since the summer of 2000, Indiana volunteer stream monitoring groups have entered data collected during habitat, chemical, and biological sampling events at over 1,800 river and stream sites across Indiana.
Only certified volunteers may enter data into the Hoosier Riverwatch online database. However, anyone is welcome to search, view, graph, map, or download stream data housed in this database, no password required. This tool provides a unique opportunity for volunteers to share data, not only with one another but also with anyone interested in the quality of Indiana's wadeable rivers and streams.
