Infrastructure State Implementation Plans

Infrastructure state implementation plans (SIPs) are statewide documents that pertain to every county in the state. Section 110(a) of the federal Clean Air Act (CAA) requires states to submit infrastructure SIPs within three years following the issuance of new or revised National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS). Infrastructure SIPs describe a state’s resources and authority to implement the new or revised NAAQS. CAA Sections 110(a)(1) and 110(a)(2) define elements states must include in their plans.

Following are infrastructure SIPs IDEM has prepared and submitted to United States Environmental Protection Agency (U.S. EPA) for review and approval under the NAAQS.
