General Administrative Orders

The Commission provides additional guidance to regulated utilities regarding policies and procedures through General Administrative Orders, or GAOs. This includes policies governing interest rates for gas customer deposits, case procedures, and time parameters for general rate cases, among other topics. GAOs also contain procedures for matters such as safety valve requests and certificates of territorial authority for communication service providers. GAOs become effective upon approval by the Commission. Click on the categories below to see all active GAOs issued by the Commission. A list of active GAOs organized by date can be found here.
