  • Having a substance use crisis
What is 9-8-8?

9-8-8 is a direct, national line. It is to help people with all types of mental health crises. You can call, text or chat with someone at 9-8-8. In Indiana, the state will partner with up to five providers, including the three current National Suicide Prevention Lifeline call centers in the state, to answer contacts to 988.
