For Traditional Medicaid Members:

Use our provider search to determine whether your current provider participates in the Medicaid program. If your provider is listed, you should contact them ahead of time to see if they are accepting new patients. If you don't have a provider, you can search by zip code to find a provider near you.

Some providers no longer participate in the Medicaid program. If you cannot find your provider, you can check the list of terminated Medicaid providers.

For Healthy Indiana Plan, Hoosier Healthwise, or Hoosier Care Connect Members:

Please remember that if you are enrolled in the Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP), Hoosier Healthwise, or Hoosier Care Connect, you will need to choose a Primary Medical Provider (PMP) within your health plan.

If you are looking for a specialist and are in a managed health plan, you may need a referral from your PMP before Medicaid will pay for certain services. Please check with your PMP or your health plan before seeking additional services.

Is Your Doctor a Medicaid Provider?

Use the IHCP Provider Locator to determine if your doctor is a Medicaid provider. If you go to a doctor who is not enrolled in Medicaid, Medicaid cannot reimburse for any services from that doctor. If your doctor would like to enroll, suggest that they visit the Indiana Medicaid Provider Website.
