Time Share and Camping Club Registrations
Before a developer may offer to sell any time shares or camping club memberships in this state, the developer must register with the Attorney General's Office.
- "Time share" means the right to use and occupy a unit on a periodic basis according to an arrangement allocating this right among various time share participants.
- "Camping club" means any enterprise, other than one that is tax exempt under Section 501 of the Internal Revenue Code, that has as its primary purpose camping or outdoor recreation that involves or will involve camping sites.
Registration resources can be found below. To register, complete the application form and attach all required documents listed in the form. An initial registration fee of $250.00 (two-hundred and fifty dollars) is required, and may be paid by credit card, check, or money order.
A renewal application and $50.00 (fifty dollar) fee are due by July 1 each year in order for a registration to remain active.
