Director

Eric Miller was appointed director of the Indiana Department of Child Services by Gov. Eric Holcomb in May 2023. He joined Indiana state government in 2007 as a budget analyst for Gov. Mitch Daniels’ budget office. At DCS, he is dedicated to offering the best service to Hoosier children and families. Miller received his bachelor’s degree in financial planning from Purdue University and a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Kentucky with a concentration in public financial management and an MBA from the University of Indianapolis.
