21st Century Scholars
21st Century Scholars Program Assists Indiana Families in Striving for High Educational Goals
Twenty-first Century Scholars Program began in 1990 as Indiana's way of raising the educational aspirations of low- and moderate-income families. The program aims to ensure that all Indiana families can afford a college education for their children. Students can receive a scholarship at any participating college or university in Indiana equal to the cost of four years of college tuition at Indiana's public post-secondary institutions by:
- ELIGIBILITY - Meeting eligibility guidelines and application deadlines;
- PLEDGING EXCELLENCE - Maintaining a pledge to academic excellence and good citizenship; and
- AVOIDING DRUGS - Avoiding drug and alcohol use.
