Indianapolis-The Indiana Civil Rights Commission (ICRC) will conduct a free Continuing Legal Education (CLE) seminar for attorneys and legal professionals in Richmond Friday, March 22, 2013 in the Community Room of Richmond City Hall. The free training titled “Equal Employment Law Update” will be worth 3.0 CLE credits* for Indiana attorneys.
“It is important that we reach every corner of the state in our education and outreach efforts,” said Jamal L. Smith, Executive Director of the ICRC. “We want to ensure that legal professionals are familiar with recent cases and any changes in legislation.”
The 3.0 credit hour seminar, which begins at 9:00 am, will be led by local attorneys who specialize in equal employment law.

The CLE in Richmond is the first in a series of eight seminars in the ICRC’s 2013 Statewide Continuing Legal Education Program. Each of the program’s seminars are free to attend and will focus on local, state and federal anti-discrimination laws.
