Office Supplies-Amazon Business

Office supplies can be purchased via punch out in Peoplesoft Financials. All other categories in Peoplesoft are restricted.

Purchasing Condition

The Amazon contract is not a standard QPA. However, office supply items under $1,500 may be treated with the same guidelines as a QPA regardless of PO total. If an individual item costs more than $1,500, the procurement processes outlined in the DPAP will need to be followed.

PeopleSoft May Time-Out

The Amazon Business punch out for office supplies will open in your PeopleSoft window. You may be logged out of PeopleSoft if you are taking too long to checkout your cart. It is recommended you know what items you are planning to purchase ahead of time.

Pop-ups

To avoid having to allow pop-ups every time you sign in, navigate to the pop-up blocker in the upper right corner of your window and allow the redirect. This will allow you to automatically sign on the next time you use the site.

Payments

The office supply punch out is for invoiced orders only. “Pay By Invoice” is the only valid payment method that should be selected.

Shipping

Locations will have a default delivery window of 9am-4pm Monday-Friday. Opting for expedited shipping at checkout could override delivery windows and cause packages to be delivered after hours.

If you need to modify your delivery hours, contact Vendor Management after you have successfully accessed the punch out and created a requisition to have hours updated.

*Current IDOA approved P-card users for Amazon purchases may continue to follow P-card best practices for those approved purchases* These approved P-card purchases must be processed directly through the Amazon Business website.
