Cameron Taylor - Fitness & Wellness Program Director



Cameron Taylor joined the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy in November 2024. Cameron is directly responsible for all Physical Training for both the Tier 1 & Tier 2 programs.

Prior to joining the academy, Cameron was a Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Indiana National Guard at Camp Atterbury in Edinburgh, Indiana. He was the Lead Coach for the 113th ASOS TACP Air Force Special Warfare Unit from 2021-2024 and worked with Soldiers & Airmen throughout the whole state as part of the Holistic Health & Fitness (H2F) program.

Before working with the Indiana National Guard, Cameron was a Strength & Conditioning Coach for Rock Valley Sports Performance where he trained high school & collegiate athletes in the Quad Cities (Iowa/Illinois). He also was an intern Strength & Conditioning Coach at the University of Iowa where he worked directly with Women’s Basketball, Track & Field, Men’s Tennis, & Diving.

Cameron holds multiple certifications including Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and Tactical Strength & Conditioning Facilitator (TSAC-F) from the National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA). He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sport & Recreation Management from the University of Iowa, and a Master’s degree in Coaching Sport Performance from Western Michigan University
