Cris Gonzalez joined ILEA as a Senior Attorney. She graduated from the IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law and received her master’s degree in criminal justice and public safety from Indiana University in Indianapolis. She is a David L. Boren National Security Education Program scholar and has spent time in Vietnam and Cambodia researching human rights and the human trafficking industry. Before this position, Cris worked as a Deputy Prosecutor inthe Wayne County and Tippecanoe County Prosecutor’s Offices, where she focused on major felony trial work. Cris also worked as a Local Office Attorney with the Indiana Department of Child Services.
Cris is the newest member ILEA legal team. Away from the academy she enjoys traveling abroad, running, watching Marvel movies and spending time with her fiancé and family.
