Jason Beck has been a career law enforcement officer since 2016. He attended the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy where he was nominated as president of Class 211 and received the Herman H. Freed award. During his career, he served as a patrol officer, Lieutenant, K9 Handler, CIT Officer, NASRO Practitioner, and bike patrol officer.
Jason joined the Indiana Law Enforcement family in 2024 with a focus of Strategies and Tactics of Patrol Stops (S.T.O.P.S.) trainer and general instructor. His goal would be to become a Defensive Tactics and Firearms Instructor as well. He is excited to train, lead, encourage and develop the next generations of law enforcement officers. Prior to full time status as a law enforcement officer, Jason was a full-time youth pastor at a local church. During that time, he served his community as a reserve officer from 2014 – 2016.
Away from academy life, Jason enjoys his family time and vacationing. He has been married to his wife since 2011, and together they have 2 children.
