Keith Warner - Staff Instructor


Dr. Keith Warner comes to the Indiana Law Enforcement Academy after serving as a Deputy Sheriff with the Vermillion County Sheriff’s Office for several years. Dr. Warner serves as a Law Enforcement Training Specialist with the Instructor Development Course and STOPS training. He also teaches several classes in the Basic Academy Course.

Dr. Warner has an extensive background which includes The United States Army, The United States Air Force, and 27 years of leading churches in the Midwest.

He obtained his B.S. Degree from St. Louis Christian College, a Master of Divinity from Lincoln Christian University, and a Doctoral Degree from Lincoln Christian University.

Kieth has four children and eight grandchildren and one Labradoodle names Luna. He’s a Golfer (well, tries to be), and loves being outdoors (when its warm!). He is a St. Louis Cardinals fan and an Illini Basketball fan.

Dr. Warner’s favorite book is, “The Return of the Prodigal Son”, by Henri Nouwen. His favorite quote, “The great illusion of leadership is to think that man can be led out of the desert by someone who has never been there.” – Henri J.M. Nouwen, “The Wounded Healer.”
