Description of rule 1

Amends 856 IAC 2-3-4 and 856 IAC 2-3-5 to remove the waiver of the CSR (Controlled Substance Registration) requirement for EMS providers.  Adopts new EMS CSR rule 856 IAC 2-3-4.5.

the Indiana Board of Pharmacy will hold a public hearing to amend 856 IAC 2-3, concerning controlled substances registrations for emergency service providers. These rules will establish registration requirements as well as exemptions for controlled substances registrations for emergency service providers.

This rule imposes a financial cost. This rule establishes a controlled substance registration requirement for emergency service providers.  Per 856 IAC 2, the fee for such registration is $100.

Copies of these rules are now on file at the Indiana Government Center South, 402 West Washington Street, Room W072 and Legislative Services Agency, One North Capitol, Suite 325, Indianapolis, Indiana and are open for public inspection.
