The Utility Department maintains streets, alleys, and storm drains. The Utility Department offers brush/leaf pickup and snow removal, seasonally.
Brush & Leaf Pickup
Tuesdays & Fridays, seasonally April 1st-November 15th
Brush and leaf pickup is done seasonally. Other utility emergencies will be dealt with before brush and leaf pickup. If the Utility Department is unable to do brush and leaf pickup on the assigned day, homeowners will not be charged or asked to remove the brush and leaves from the curb. The Utility Department will get around to pickup as soon as they are available. Please have brush and leaves out by 9am on the morning of pickup day.
Leaves & Grass clippings:
- To be put in paper leaf bags only
- Plastic bags are no longer accepted and will be left on the road
- Place paper bags next to the curb by 9am on pickup day. Please do not put them out with trash.
- Weight limit is 20 pounds. Anything heavier can be left behind.
- Broken bags will be left behind.
Limbs & Trees:
- Length of 4 feet and tied in bundles
- Limit of 1 truck load per month
- No railroad ties, treated lumber, or construction debris
- No limbs over 6 inches in diameter
- No tree stumps or roots
- Trees cut down are the homeowner’s responsibility to remove and will be left behind
- Christmas trees will be placed with the weekly trash removal for pickup
Snow Removal
The Utility Department will do snow removal as needed. Main roads will be cleared first for emergency vehicles. Through streets are plowed second. The Utility Department will not clear alleys or resident’s driveways.
