In October of 2017, a webinar took place that discussed how involvement in a sector partnership could help Indiana employers meet their workforce needs, and it was organized by Indiana Sector Partnerships through the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.
Sector partnerships are industry-led collaborations within critical industries, driven by conveners who bring together industry, workforce, education and other partners to collectively build talent and pipeline development strategies. Panelists highlighted current Indiana sector partnerships, positive outcomes from sector partnerships in other states, and short-term and long-term opportunities.
