Formerly Short Course, L.E.A.D.S. (Learners Excelling, Achieving, Dreaming, Succeeding) offers workshops for statewide students ages 6-22 focusing on Expanded Core Curriculum areas.
For grades 1-5: Leap into L.E.A.D.S.
Young students leap into their ECC journeys, having fun while learning and practicing skills for lifelong success. Students may choose one, several, or all sessions.
Course 1: October 17-18 – Sensory Efficiency
Course 2: December 5-6 – Compensatory Skills
Course 3: February 6-7 – Self-Determination and Assistive Technology
Course 4: April 24-25 – Social Interaction

Middle and High School students focus on their favorite ECC areas. Students may attend one or both semesters’ sessions.
Semester 1, Career Exploration: September 25-27 and November 20-22

Students prepare for the transition to adult life, making plans and taking action to implement them.
