FSSA Will Walk to Support Suicide Prevention
September is National Suicide Prevention Month and all month mental health advocates, prevention organizations, survivors, allies and community members unite to promote suicide prevention awareness. The Division of Mental Health and Addiction will be participating in the Out of the Darkness Community Walk, on World Suicide Prevention Day, Saturday, Sept. 10, at the White River State Park Celebration Plaza. You can show your support by joining the team or by making a monetary donation to contribute to their prevention efforts. To learn more, visit the FSSA/DMHA team page here or by scanning the QR code to the right.
The Out of the Darkness Community Walk is a journey of remembrance, hope and support. It unites our communities and provides an opportunity to acknowledge the ways in which suicide and mental health conditions have affected our lives and the lives of those we love and care about.
