Suicide Prevention Trainings
The Division of Mental Health and Addiction is hosting free suicide prevention trainings to all interested state employees through the end of the year to help save lives and reduce suicidal behaviors by providing innovative, practical and proven suicide prevention training. Each session is limited to 40 participants and registration is required. Upon completion of the training attendees will become a certified Gatekeeper and be able to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis, learn how to offer hope and refer someone to help.
These free trainings are offered through the QPR Institute and will be held at the Indiana Government Center Conference Center on the dates listed below, from 8 a.m. – 10 a.m., and training materials will be provided.
