Parking Ticket Validation Procedure
The list below shows those persons designated to validate parking tickets for FSSA. We do not validate for other agencies or guests of other agencies.

During the legislative sessions, guest parking in state garages and lots is restricted to Fridays only.
If an employee or contractor who normally parks in the garages/lots loses or forgets their ID badge they may take a ticket to get into the parking facility. They must have that ticket validated and use it to get out of the parking facility when they leave for the day.
Do not wait until the end of the day to have tickets validated. Validation of tickets should be sought as soon as possible. Validation staff does not need the ticket or the person to be present at the time of validation. The necessary information can be emailed to one of the validators noted above. Please provide the following information for each ticket..

Name of Meeting, Location, End Time:
Ticket Number:
Ticket Date:
Ticket Time:
If you are having a meeting with several attendees it is suggested that you use a sign-in sheet that includes space for each person to enter their ticket information. You could then scan the sheet and email it to a validator. Please include in the email a completed time that the validation needs to be completed so that the validation will be entered before the time guests leave the building.
The validator receiving the request will verify receipt of the email, so the requestor knows validation action will occur before the end of the meeting.
If no response is received by the validator shortly after sending your email, please reach out to another validator first within your division, then outside of it. (Please consider lunch hours to avoid duplication of validation.)
