The Shelby County Local Emergency Planning Committee will hold its meetings for the year 2024 at 1:30 PM at Room 208A of the Court House Annex, 25 West Polk Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176 on the following dates: January 9, April 16, July 9, and October 8 and at such other times as shall be duly authorized by act of the Committee or its Chairman. All interested parties arencouraged to attend. Updates will be posted to our website at www.co.shelby.in.us/lepc
The Shelby County Emergency Plan for Hazardous Materials Incidents may be reviewed during regular business hours at the offices of Shelby Emergency Management. All information filed covered by SARA Title III for facilities in Shelby County may be reviewed during regular business hours at the offices of Shelby County Emergency Management. Copies of documents may be obtained at this office, and the Committee may charge a fee for copying. The state’s requirements for public meetings still require that a quorum of the members are physically present in the meeting room.
