Purdue University Affiliated Riders
Purdue University students, faculty, and staff will pay fare for trips taken on all non-campus loop routes. Purdue University affiliated riders will ride campus loop routes at no additional cost. Campus loop routes are designated with an “C” after the route number.

Semester Passes are NOT accepted as valid fare on express routes designated with an “E” after the route number. Riders must have an authorized resident ID to ride fare-free; or pay cash fare, token, or 1 way digital pass for each trip.
Important Notices
Exact fare is required onboard the bus. Drivers do not make change. Place dollar bills, coins or tokens in the farebox upon boarding. Swipe passes in the farebox. Insert transfer tickets and day passes into the ticket reader. Ask driver if you need assistance.
Cash payments are not accepted at the CityBus Center customer service window. Cash and purchases can be made at the ticket vending machine in the CityBus Center lobby. Change from the ticket vending machine will be returned via a stored value card that can be applied to future fare purchases.
Half-fare riders must show the driver a Medicare Card, CityBus E&D Photo ID, or proof of age over 65 every time reduced fare is paid. The CityBus E&D Photo ID is available for $2 at the CityBus Administrative Office and is valid for 3 years with a completed E&D Application.
Unlimited ride passes (1-day, 31-day, 31-day E&D, Semester, and Ivy Tech IDs) are good for unlimited trips on regular routes during the validity date of the pass. Unlimited ride passes are NOT accepted as valid fare on express routes designated with an “E” after the route number. Riders must have an authorized resident ID to ride express routes fare-free; or pay cash fare, token, or 1 way digital pass for each trip.
CityBus certifies riders for CityBus ACCESS according to Americans with Disabilities Act eligibility guidelines. Fare is $2 per one way trip and certified riders are free on fixed route.
