The Department of Correction is committed to zero tolerance for all forms of sexual abuse and sexual harassment between staff, volunteers, contractors, contractual staff, visitors, or official visitors, and offenders whether committed by staff, volunteers, contractual staff, visitors, or other offenders.

Report an Incident

To report an incident of sexual abuse or sexual harassment on behalf of an offender please call 877-385-5877 or email IDOCPREA@idoc.in.gov

Please include the following information, if known, when reporting sexual abuse or sexual harassment.

  • Date of the alleged incident.
  • Victim’s name and DOC number and facility
  • All alleged perpetrators names and DOC numbers
  • Location of alleged incident
  • Any other information provided regarding the incident

Reporting parties please note the following

  • The allegation will be discussed with the victim named in the report.
  • The allegation will be disclosed only to those who need to know to ensure victim safety and to investigate the allegation.

Incarcerated Population Tablet Upgrade
The Indiana Department of Correction will soon be updating the tablets used by the incarcerated population at our facilities. Indiana State Prison will be the first to get the new tablets. The transition will begin on December 10, 2024. The remaining facilities will be upgraded after the start of the new year.
